Better Place Battery Switch Technology Demonstration – Idealist
I like the Better Place concept, it is a step in the right direction in my eyes. To me the near future doesn’t involve flying cars à-la Jetsons, it is much more mundane:
The integration of renewable energy and eventually off-the-grid capabilities for service stations; this would be the technological and utilitarian pinnacle. From what history tells us, industry leaders will record record profits and become greedy unless there is a cost/sale % price regulation put into place. Now that is pretty optimistic
What if the world population continues to grow at its current rate? That would equal roughly 8.9 billion people by 2050. In this case, the proper road-map to advancement would require a massive and massively funded international human advancement think-tank which in return would require evolved educational methods\ideas AND proper funding to better the Earth. This scenario alone would surely bridge the gap of current day differences among nations and peoples. Corporate reality would be shifted toward a more open-source concept.
Ok, so I am somewhat of an idealist, maybe even surrealist but I’m ok with that so continue reading.
At this point, we’re all holing hands and singing kumbaya and still I am not content.
Two things are missing for me to be happy.
Number one: Once the technological and utilitarian peak is reached by the Better Place-like innovation, the future (refined) technologies that surpass the MPG of Better Place are brought to light.
Number two: We sing Imagine by John Lennon and don’t hold hands (I am kind of a germaphobe).
